Reviews

An Unforgettable Ride Through Colombia. My wife and I joined the 7-Day Perfect Loop Coffee Region Tour for our first trip to South America, and it exceeded every expectation. Jeff and his team were outstanding—friendly, professional, and incredibly organized.

The route was stunning and full of variety, the Honda XRE300 was in perfect condition, and riding two-up was smooth and easy. From start to finish, it was a beautiful, challenging, and unforgettable experience. If you’re thinking about a motorcycle adventure in Colombia—book with Jeff. You won’t be disappointed."

4-Day Hidden Coffee Villages Loop
Mixed Terrain Loop

🗺️ Day-by-Day Itinerary – 4-Day Colombia Motorcycle Tour

Day 1 – Medellín → Amagá Railroad Bridge → Aguadas

4 Hours / 140 km

Leave Medellín and ride south into the mountains of Antioquia before descending toward the Cauca River Valley.

Near Amagá, visit the famous Amagá Railroad Bridge, a steel railway viaduct from the early 1900s where riders carefully cross along the abandoned tracks above a dramatic canyon. This bucket-list crossing was also featured in a ride by motorcycle traveler Itchy Boots, making it a well-known spot among adventure riders.

After the bridge, continue north through the warm valley before climbing back into the Andes toward northern Caldas. The day ends in Aguadas, a traditional coffee town famous for its steep streets, colorful balconies, and strong tinto coffee culture.

Day 2 – Aguadas → Salamina → Caramanta → Valparaíso

5 Hours / 145 km

Start the morning riding to Salamina, one of Colombia’s most beautiful heritage towns. The elegant plaza is centered around the iconic La Pila fountain, brought from Paris in the 1890s, and surrounded by colorful colonial architecture.

From Salamina the ride continues along remote Andean backroads with sweeping views of deep valleys and cloud-covered ridges. The route winds through high coffee farms before descending to Caramanta, a scenic mountain town perched high above the Cauca River Valley.

The day ends in Valparaíso, a quiet coffee town surrounded by green hills where traditional Paisa life continues largely untouched by tourism.

Day 3 - Valparaíso → Támesis → Jericó → Jardín

4 Hours / 101 km

Today’s ride links several of Antioquia’s most beautiful towns. Climb toward Támesis for wide views over the Cauca River Valley, then continue to Jericó, famous for its colorful balconies, artisan shops, and lively cafés.

The final stretch takes us off-road through to Jardín, one of Colombia’s most picturesque towns, where the vibrant plaza and neo-Gothic basilica create the perfect setting for a relaxed evening.

Day 4 - Jardín → Santa Fe De Antioquia → Medellín

4 Hours / 195 km

Ride out of Jardín through rolling coffee hills before descending once again toward the Cauca River Valley.

The route reaches Santa Fe de Antioquia, one of Colombia’s oldest colonial towns, known for its whitewashed buildings, cobbled streets, and warm tropical climate. Riders cross the famous Puente de Occidente, a dramatic suspension bridge built in the late 1800s and considered one of Colombia’s great engineering landmarks.

From the valley the road climbs back into the Central Andes, returning to Medellín and completing an unforgettable four-day adventure through Colombia’s coffee mountains.
